Financial Accountant in High Wycombe offering £25,000- £30,000

Your new company

You will be working as a Financial Accountant for a nationally known company whose head office if based in High Wycombe.

Your new role

You will be working in the Financial Accounting team and reporting to the Head of Finance, responsible for all general ledger work for the UK business, as well as liaising with international sites and directors. Your main focus will be around month end duties and preparing for the month end close with tight deadlines. Cashflow forecasts, accruals, prepayments would be key to your responsibilities as well as the preparation of VAT and Intrastat returns. You will provide ad hoc reports as necessary to the finance team, take control of the fixed assets help prepare statutory accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position you will have worked in finance and be confident when working on month end processes, as well as working effectively to tight deadlines. You will be confident working for a large finance team, and for an international company. Studying towards an accounting qualification would be advantageous.
