Finance Manager

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for a fast growing business in North Derbyshire. This is a new role for the business to support the recent and future growth of the business.

As the Finance Manager you will supervise the finance team and provide assistance to the Financial Director.

Key responsibilities:

• Management of finance team team, including including qualified and transactional
• Ensure all bank reconciliations are completed weekly and review;
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed
• Ensure the purchase ledger team process purchase invoices in a timely manner;
• Input into the monthly cashflow forecasting prepared by the Financial Controller and the Financial Reporting Accountant;
• Project work including the integration of acquisitions, and streamlining processes
• Ensuring the audit and tax requests are completed
• Performance reviews of all the team
• Approval of BACs and faster payments;
• Development and improvement of the team’s processes;

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified of equivalent), with experience of working in a fast paced and growing business. You will have excellent team management/supervision experience. You will have the ability to use appropriate level of initiative and be driven and with a focused attitude to work.
