Finance Analyst

An exciting opportunity has a risen for a newly qualified/part qualified accountant to join a growing and dynamic international business based in Surrey.

Due to a promotion, this market leading consumer business is seeking an ambitious and hard-working individual to be a part of their growth story.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• To be either a newly qualified or part qualified accountant, CIMA/ACCA preferred
• To be a self-starter, motivated to work hard and have a 'can-do' attitude
• Ideally experience within industry, well used to managing senior stakeholders and working to tight deadlines
• To be personable and work well both individually and on a team level
• Experience in financial systems, Excel skills are a must and HFM/SAP would be beneficial
• The ability to work to tight deadlines, keeping a sense of humour during testing situations

A little more about the role:

• You will work with senior stakeholders across the business to provide analysis and understand the variances to the overall business plan and determine the key drivers behind this
• Be personally responsible for the rolling forecasts/budgets and the forecasting process to ensure they are provided in a timely and accurate manner
• You will be the owner of the ZBB process, working with department heads from across the business to provide clarity for the wider business
• Be involved in the monthly reporting to Group, with support from other teams from across the business
• Work on the month/quarter end reporting, working to improve the processes where possible
• Over time you will be become the systems expert for the business unit, becoming the go-to person for training/development and trouble shooting
