Senior Internal Audit & Risk Advisor

A FTSE 250 in London has a vacancy for a Senior Auditor & Risk Advisor as a result of an internal promotion. You'd join a team of Senior Auditors and Managers who identify, plan, perform and report on risk based internal audits to provide assurance on the effectiveness of controls over risks facing the Group. Following on from this, you'll suggest pragmatic commercial solutions to findings that balance benefits and costs against the associated risk. In addition, you'll contribute to the department's continual improvement (e. enhancing use of data analytics and embedding agile audit methodology) and take responsibility for driving this forward during audits. Travel in the role is estimated at 20%. Benefits include a bonus potential of 18%, private healthcare, and generous holiday allowance.
The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or IIA qualified (or equivalent). You may be working as an external auditor in a Top 10 firm, or already be an internal auditor in a commercial business. This role offers the chance to gain broad internal audit and risk experience in a commercially focused and forward thinking environment. Ambition will be rewarded with the opportunity to apply for promotion to Manager in the longer term, or move to other parts of the business if desired.
