Group Financial Controller

Our client, an internationally operating SME based in Southampton, are looking for a Group Financial Controller following a recent internal promotion.  

Managing a finance team in Southampton and overseas, this role will take overall responsibility for financial processes and Group accounting policies. You will also own the management accounts and budgeting process, as well as financial reporting and statutory accounts. Naturally, you will work closely with the Finance Director to provide high quality financial information to the Senior Management Team, as well as showing the leadership qualities necessary to develop a good quality core finance team.

You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with in depth technical accounting knowledge with a natural affinity for improving accounting processes. You will also be a strong team manager and any prior experience within a Group environment would be a distinct advantage.

The client is open to candidates looking to make their first move from Practice, as well as those who are already in Industry.
