Property/Client Accountant - Commercial Real Estate. Our Client is a leading commercial real estate services company, who provide a full range of services on a national and international basis. Their services cover office, industrial, retail and residential. Due to recent new instructions they are currently looking for a Client Accountant with excellent organisation and communication skills to join their accounting team.

The Role: The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the following:

  • Being responsible all the client accounting for an allocated commercial property portfolio.
  • Preparing annual service charge accounts.
  • Preparing accounts for completion, property sales and handling tenant queries.
  • Controlling, setting up and maintaining records on the Property Management database.
  • Reviewing lease data etc., updating and amending information.
  • Handling tenant demands for rents.
  • Understanding and agreeing client reporting requirements.
  • Performing service charge reconciliations.
  • Carrying out tenant account reconciliations.

The Person: You must have previous experience a commercial property/client/service charge accountant. You will ideally be using a property management system such as Horizon, QUBE, TRAMPS and have at least 1-2 year's property client accounting experience. You must have a strong knowledge of Excel, to an intermediate level and an organised approach to work. Being a professional, positive and co-operate team player is also advantageous. This is a good role for someone with experience in accounting and wanting to work with a reputable property firm.
