Financial Accounting Manager required to join the UK h/q of our household name, as they bolster their group finance function. Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you will be responsible for UK statutory reporting, and managing the group relationship with the international parent company.
Responsibilities include:
- Completion of statutory accounts, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, provision of technical advice and support for acquisitions
- Implementation, development and maintenance of financial records, controls and systems
- Ownership of the consolidated monthly reporting process
- Ensuring an up to date knowledge of the latest technical accounting standards and the business impact of any changes
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with previous experience of preparation of statutory accounts, and (ideally) knowledge of IFRS. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and motivate staff. Candidates who are looking for their first move from practice will be considered alongside those with industry experience.
