An opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant to join a rapidly growing PE-backed services business based in central London.
Client Details
My client is a leading player in the services sector with a global operation across more than 20 countries. They have grown EBITDA by more than ten-fold and following new equity & debt raising, the group is set for further expansion.
Description
This group accountant role will have responsibility for a range of finance tasks including accounting, IT & some admin. The role will require regular contact with senior stakeholders within Group Finance, UK & Overseas finance teams.
The role is varied and includes complete ownership of accounting for a number of UK Head Office entities, as well as providing assistance on group-wide management and financial reporting. The role will also involve administration and maintenance tasks relating to the group
Education and training
Profile
This group accountant role is within a small, busy Head Office team working where demands vary from day to day, so flexibility of working practices and the ability to react to a variety of ad-hoc situations, either as part of a team or under your own initiative, are essential.
Key credentials required for the role:
- Professional finance qualification either ACA/ACCA or CIMA
- Strong academic background
- Experience producing either statutory or management accounts desirable
- Exposure to IFRS desirable
Job Offer
Basic salary of up to £50,000 + benefits.
