Our client, a rapidly growing retail business, who propose opening or acquiring other branches during the next 12 months, is seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst.
Below is listed a summary of tasks for the role.

Daily
*Sales Leagues
*Target vs. Actual - GAP analysis based on targets
*Turnover and GP
*Interrogate database to understand any anomalies
*Understand delta between daily reporting and the Database
*Update team on their commission earned

Weekly Tasks

*Provide managers update on Target vs. Actual
*Review stock trending based on sales during the week in conjunction with current holding
*Review ROI on deals
*Competitor analysis
*Competitor analysis
*Provide support on company deals - ROIs etc.
*Support sales team with information around discounts
*Monitor
*_GP per box
*_Product Mix
*_MRC - Monthly recurring contract
*_Any live Incentives

Monthly

*Preparation of the target file for review
*Preparation of final result for review
*Prepare commission calculation for payroll
*Prepare commission reconciliation between database and supplier payment
*Prepare revenue numbers from database for finance
*Adhoc reporting as required
*Update pricebook changes within the database
*Add/remove users from the database
*Reconcile Compass Payments to database
*Reconcile rebates to database and lead ROI deals

Projects

*Build director dashboard detailing key KPIs
*Build a dashboard for store managers detailing KPIs
*Understand the commercial model
*Understand the managers and sales person commission schemes - Consider effectiveness and payout levels

Attributes

*Expert level in Excel
*Professional self starter with initiative to deliver great service
*Microsoft office
*Experience in retail - desirable but not essential
*Flexible as some reporting will be required during weekends etc.
