Interim FP&A Consultant

The Opportunity:

I’m currently working with a Fintech/SaaS business that’s backed by a leading lower-mid market PE house. Following the buy-out, the business has seen impressive revenue and client growth and, consequently, the finance team has significantly expanded and improved.

I’m looking for someone to work closely with the Head of FP&A, to deliver quality improvements across the function – potentially with a view to remaining on a permanent basis.

Ultimately, you will be driving extreme value for a fantastic business, enabling them to have the strongest possible FP&A function as they push forward and line up an exit.

The Role:

Support the Head of FP&A across the entire FP&A function. You will target process improvements across modelling, forecasting and budgeting – primarily looking at areas for automation.

The Requirements:

Due to the quality of the existing finance team, I’m looking for someone exceptionally high quality:

• ACA/CFA qualified.
• Experience within a Private Equity backed SME (ideally software/SaaS).
• Must have Software/SaaS experience – In depth knowledge of SaaS metrics etc is an absolute necessity.
• Strong FP&A background including strong excel based modelling skills.
• Ideally I’m looking for someone with a proven track record as an interim.
• Excellent communication skills.
