The Company

Our client is a market leading specialist providing business critical services that support the infrastructure of some of the UKs largest companies. A newly created role due to their continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a dedicated Financial Modelling Manager.

The Role

You will manage all the modelling activity for the short and long-term planning and forecasting along with scenario modelling of new business opportunities

Duties will include:

• Lead the financial modelling activity for short and long-term planning and forecasting using a range of modelling techniques that will enable the Board and Senior Leadership team to make informed decisions
• Provide scenario modelling and sensitivity stress testing where appropriate and develop tools to ensure performance can be measured and closely monitored
• Lead modelling for new business ventures to ascertain risks and opportunities
• Work in partnership with stakeholders throughout the business to ensure that financial targets and budgets are clearly communicated and understood

The Candidate

• Proven Excel modelling skills are essential with the ability to manipulate large data sets and make data meaningful to your stakeholders
• Adept in both financial and investment modelling with a commercial outlook and exceptional stakeholder management skills
• ACMA/ACCA/ACA qualified would be advantageous but not essential as long as you have proven knowledge of planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Experience of SAP/BI a distinct advantage
• An enquiring mind and proactive focus and the ability to challenge the status-quo
