Badenoch and Clark are working with an exclusive US listed business on the South Coast to recruit for a UK Tax Manager. This is a excellent opportunity to work with a leading global businesses where you will manage Corporate, Indirect and Employment Taxes for the UK business.
Responsibilities
*Prepare and submit the UK Corporate tax returns
*Provide guidance on new and international tax matters such as transfer pricing, corporate interest restriction, country by country reporting.
*Preparation of the quarterly and year end tax provision to include calculation of deferred tax balances.
*Manage the payment of taxes to HMRC and filing deadlines.
*Manage internal cash tax forecasting processes and optimise cash taxes.
*Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
*Provide employment tax support to payroll and HR in areas such as taxable benefits, P11D's and PSA.
*Work closely with members of the Corporate, EMEA, global and UK tax team on projects to ensure any UK compliance consequences are understood.
*Assist in oversight and tax management of the UK group of companies.
Key Skills
*ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified although this is not a prerequisite
*Minimum of 5 years proven UK tax experience preferably within a large business reporting to a US parent.
*Ability to apply tax expertise in a practical manner and act as a credible business advisor while assessing and understanding the tax impact within the wider commercial context.
*Strong corporate tax knowledge and experience
*Ability to communicate complex and highly technical matters in a simple way to colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
*Good interpersonal, communication and people management skills
*Knowledge of taxation of overseas business travellers and use of modified payroll for inbounds is an advantage.
