Our client is a new, ambitious retail SME. This has necessitated the appointment of a finance and operations director to manage the growth of the business and provide strategic direction working closely with the board and investors. You will be commercially focussed with the ability to build a strong team around you from scratch. Ideally you will have experience of the retail or wholesale sectors, and have a proven track record of implementing change and driving growth. The business is opening stores across the UK which will require strong financial management and this is therefore a great opportunity to add value in an entrepreneurial environment. You will ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with good technical and commercial skills. Experience of managing sales and operations staff would be preferred along with strong project management skills.
