RSK Group is a leading, multi-disciplinary environmental and technical services consulting firm with its head-quarters in Helsby, Cheshire.  The firm now employs 2,800 people and works across the world on a very wide variety of exciting projects.  The firm is organised in 6 divisions, and the division responsible for projects in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Former Soviet Union is looking for a Finance Director to support the continued international expansion of the business.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, with experience of working on international projects and have some experience of VAT, Withholding Tax and general corporate establishment and accounting in countries other than the UK. The successful candidate would manage the annual audit in certain overseas jurisdictions, review monthly management accounts, be involved with our banking relationships and provide support with the management of working capital. 

We are looking for someone who is resourceful, has excellent IT skills, and is a good communicator.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Chief Executive, the Group Finance Director and a number of Managing Directors and project managers.  The work will involve the establishment of company and project budgets, supporting the project teams with financial management, supporting the Chief Executive and others with financial analysis and reporting.

This is a part time position, circa 20 hours per week.  There is an opportunity to work on a flexible basis with some home working, avoiding the need to be office based.  There may be a requirement for some very limited international travel.
