Senior Finance Analyst

Ignata Finance are delighted to be partnering a highly ambitious blue-chip business located in Crawley for the recruitment of a Senior Finance Analyst. This role is a combination of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and high level business partnering. My client is seeking to hear from candidates who are either studying towards their ACCA or CIMA Finals, or ideally you will be a qualified candidate.

Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:

• ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Finalists will be considered)
• Strong financial reporting experience
• Able to demonstrate previous/current experience of partnering non-finance teams e.g. Sales, Marketing, HR
• Comfortable getting involved with the budgeting and forecasting process
• Experience of working for a PLC or blue-chip business would be highly desirable

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for producing various financial reports in relation to both month end and the budgeting process
• Analyse current and previous performance (identifying variances)
• Be involved in the forecasting process
• Responsible for the profit and loss procedure and ensuring the P&L is understood by HOD’s
• Heavily involved in several projects. Duties will include financial modelling, analyse financial impacts per project and ensure teams are working to the set budget
• Analyse forecast v actual and ensure any risks/opportunities are highlighted
• Offer detailed financial insight in order for HOD’s to make key strategic decisions
• Work closely with FP&A Manager to ensure two departments are working together
• Maintain effective internal financial controls
