MRK Associates is currently working with a well-established accountancy firm in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire for the appointment of an Accounts and Audit Senior to join the business on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for managing the team in conjunction with Directors and Partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical audit and other assurance services.

The successful individual will be ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience within audit and advisory. You will be able to maintain high professional standards of practice while encouraging the effective use of IT within the team.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring assignments are fully completed before being passed to Partners
• Planning the assignment efficiently to meet budgets and recoverability of fees required and communicate to the team
• Managing the allocation of work to other team members
• Completing regular review of work to ensure compliance standards are met
• Preparation of draft business tax computations
• Drafting recommendations to management following audit fieldwork completion
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with focus on delivering an exceptional client service
• Effectively manage a 60/40 workload favoured to accounts
