Finance Manager

A fast growing, private equity backed manufacturing business based in Lancashire are looking for a Finance Manager to join them for a full-time, permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that is continuing to grow and develop since recent private equity investment.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, your core duties as Finance Manager will include:

• Producing the full set of the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and preparing management accounts including commentary, P&L and balance sheet analysis;
• Financial planning and analysis across the group and business partnering with senior stakeholders within the company;
• Monthly board reports including analysis and full commentary;
• Working with auditors, supporting the new system implementation and attending board meetings;
• Creating new processes within the management accounts and commercial functions;
• Explaining financial/management information and performance of the business to board;
• Driving cost analysis around WIP and with closely work with site managers; and
• Developing and managing a small finance team.

Candidate requirements

The firm are looking for a Finance Manager who demonstrates:

• Fully Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA background;
• A solid background within a changing environment;
• Analytically and commercially minded;
• Strong commercial or FP&A experience; and
• Exposure to WIP or costing/contract accounting.

• £50,000 - £60,000 per annum;
