Assistant Finance Manager - Asset Management. OUR CLIENT are an independent and successful private equity / Real Estate investment management company who are active in the market place and constantly develop a wide variety of transactions globally. Due to the firm expanding, they have now instructed us to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager to support the asset management team to manage the financial aspects of their real estate portfolio which is growing quite rapidly.

THE ROLE: The successful candidate for the Assistant Finance Manager role will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and processing invoice, revenue reconciliation, accounts receivable/payable and credit card statement reconciliation on a day to day basis.
  • Managing financial management, planning, budgeting/forecasting for each property entity.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly investor and bank reporting requirements.
  • Liaising with counterparties including tenants, universities, suppliers, Jersey administrators etc.
  • Ensuring revenues are received in timely fashion, costs are kept firmly under control and all statutory compliance is met.
  • Liaising with service providers, including property managers, lawyers, tax advisers, accountants and administrators to contribute to the smooth running of the asset management function.
  • Assisting in preparation of quarterly management reports and board pack for management of the company.

THE PERSON: To apply, you must be AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified and must have experience working in Property. You should also be articulate and possess financial competence and understanding of accounts prep to TB and ideally exposure to data manipulation and analysis. The successful candidate should be an intermediate to advanced level Excel user and have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
