An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Financial Controller to join a world leading service provider based in Crowborough, East Sussex and report to the EMEA Finance Director.
The role is to strengthen the EMEA Finance function and aid continued to growth to the business across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The role will suit a motivated self-starter who is focused on delivering results, continuous improvement, embracing change and can bring leadership expertise, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities:

  • Reporting
  • Manage the monthly reporting for UK entity and emerging businesses in Ireland and Germany.
  • Assist with the production of monthly Reporting Pack and Group reporting for EMEA
  • Cash flow management
  • Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Compliance
  • Manage the audit process, statutory accounts and declarations
  • Oversee the submission of VAT Returns, Intrastat and other statutory declarations
  • Business Improvement
  • Continuous review and improvement of financial systems, internal controls, processes and procedures.
  • Assist with the migration to a new ERP system
  • Business Partnering
  • Assist the Sales Team with the preparation of bids and quotes
  • Assist the Projects and Service Teams to control the profitability of our contracts
  • Assist with and support the commercial activities of the Group

  • Essential Criteria
  • Relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with 2+ years' PQE or Part Qualified Accountant with the relevant working experience
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis experience coupled with strong Excel skills

  • Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience within the contracting sector
  • Experience of managing cross-border transactions across the global and in multiple currencies
  • Experience in line management and the development of a finance team
  • Experience of working in a sizable group environment across the full P&L and Balance sheet
