A market leading FTSE 100, based in West London, are looking for a Senior Treasury Accountant to head up the team. The role will focus on accounting under IFRS 9 and will be a lead point of call for the development and maintenance of the Treasury Management System (TMS).
Key responsibilities include:
- Hedge accounting in accordance with IFRS 9 and IAS 39
- Responsible for correct and timely monthly treasury accounting and reporting
- Statutory reporting for debt and financial instruments
- Review and design and implementation TMS
- Improving processes and systems
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ideally Big 4 trained) with a strong academic record. They will have 5+ years of experience in treasury accounting and will be up to date on IFRS and IAS regulations. A background in a Blue Chip is preferred.
