The role of Financial Reporting and Planning Manager is working for a large financial services organisation in Leeds. The business is a well-known corporate brand with a strong leadership team and ample opportunity for progression at all levels.

In a nutshell, this particular role will require the successful candidate to deliver insightful and focused financial analysis to Senior Management.

The role:

• For the corporate plan, lead the production of robust and accurate financial plans, along with insightful analysis. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate production processes.
• Develop an effective network of stakeholders across the business to drive commercial thinking.
• Business Partnering - Collaborating effectively with other reams and functions across the business
• Develop reporting techniques to show the results of financial plans and monthly performance
• Play a key role in balance sheet shaping for the plan as well as modelling sensitivities of the plan an forecasts
• Coach, mentor and develop a small team of Accountants and Assistants

What we are looking for:

• A fully qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
• A minimum of 2 years PQE
• Experience of working in a multi-disciplined finance function in a medium size or large organisation
• Experience of working in the Financial Services sector
• Highly numerate candidate, well organised and capable of working to tight deadlines
• A confident communicator with the ability to network and build positive working relationships at all levels
• Strong influencing skills
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft applications and MI systems
• Able to review, manage and develop new financial accounting principles
