Senior Accountant (Family Office)

Your new company
With over 1 billion in global investments, the head quarters function of this family office is responsible for the overall group management of the global business. The investment portfolio include investments in Commodities, Life Science, Innovative Technology, Property and Manufacturing. The investment strategy is to find industries the family can passionately support and use their business expertise to run them professionally.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the CFO of the Group, the culture of this business and nature of the role is unlike that of usual Family office positions, where this group have a forward thinking approach to developing their business. The duties and responsibilities are broad and the role would suit a professional, chartered accountant who is perhaps looking for a slight step away from the corporate life of the investment world.
Duties:

• Ownership of monthly group reporting - 8 entities (no consolidation)
• Management of the outsourced bookkeeping and global stats processes
• Management of outsourced tax firm
• Provide management services to the Group Property entities
• Oversee complex transactions on global scale - exposure to M&A due diligence
• Overall ownership of audit process
• Anti-corruption
• Management of office support staff

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a chartered accountant with post qualified experience within an investment focused business. The role would be perfectly suited to a well educated professional who now wants to step away from the long hours of the City but still wishes to be involved in the Investment space. This is a succession plan role so you will need to have the ambition to one day become Group FD of this business.
