This Independent Investment Manager is looking for a new Senior Accountant to join their Central/Corporate team. They will support the FC and help oversee the junior members of the team.
The business Manages over £2.5b in Assets and focuses on Green energy and infrastructure. They have experienced healthy and steady growth and are expanding their operations across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly group P&L statements, consolidating the results of all entities
- Preparation of quarterly company Balance Sheet reports.
- Preparation of monthly management information packs for the Head of Finance, CFO and CEO, used for top level decision making
- Submission of FCA returns
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for offshore entities.
- Overseeing the year end audits of group entities.
- Responding to ad hoc queries and performing analyses for Senior Management as well as the HR, Marketing, Investment and Sales teams.
- Administer the company payroll and pension scheme, calculating monthly contributions.
- Oversee and help develop junior members of the team
- Ad Hoc Project work
- Extremely strong academics
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with 2-3 years post-qualified experience
- Ability to understand complex structures and technical financial information
- Audit background with experience within the Financial Services industry.
- Strong excel skills
