Management Accountant

A thriving Television Production group is looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join their team for a period of 12 months to cover a maternity leave.

The company is responsible for bringing a variety of entertainment & factual programmes to our screens and have been experiencing some very highly successful years.

This role will report into the Head of Finance and requires an experienced individual who is fully qualified and has ideally gained their experience within a TV or Media company.

The Role:

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the group companies
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for various management purposes
• Review & prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyse and evaluate business performance to include actuals against budget
• Assist with month & year end accounts
• Review & consolidate reports for the US business
• Prepare VAT returns for all group companies;

The Candidate:

• Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent);
• Solid management accounting experience ideally gained within a television or media company;
• Experience of PMI would be a distinct advantage;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Commercially minded, with great analytical skills;
• Strong Excel skills;
• Great team player with the ability to liaise with creative individuals;
• Attention to detail, organised and self motivated.
