Senior Training and Communications Manager

Senior Training and Communications Manager job with TaxAssist in Norwich

Hays are working with TaxAssist in Norwich to help source Senior Training & Communications Manager to lead their Training Academy and provide technical client communications.

Main duties

• Identify training needs in the network
• Deliver training to franchisees and their staff
• Co-ordinate courses with external suppliers and staff of the Support Centre
• Arrange Technical Update Days, liaising internally and externally with suppliers
• Maintain relationships with the Professional Institutes, encouraging qualifications and practising certificates
• Manage the Training Academy budget, reporting monthly MI
• Add new courses where appropriate, monitoring attendance and feedback
• Develop and write training materials
• Researching and writing tax/accounting information for marketing purposes
• Liaise with the technical department to provide supporting technical content to the network for marketing purposes
• Prepare Budget guides for the network
• Travel throughout the UK, where necessary, to training course or visit to Franchisees

You will work closely with and report to the Group Operations Director and be responsible for managing a team of two administrators. You will need to have a good understanding of the accountancy market and environment as well as strong commercial skills. An ability to communicate to a wide range of people at differing levels of their career and with different abilities is essential. An accountancy qualification and practice experience would be an advantage.
