Assistant Financial Accountant (Part Qualified)

A LEADING & GLOBAL Blue Chip organisation based in Warwick require a Part Qualified Financial Accountant with experience of balance sheet reconciliation. This will be an initial 6 month contract with scope for longer term extension.

The Assistant Financial Accountant will complete the role of balance sheet reconciliations and financial accountancy across the business. The successful candidate will work in line with the certification standard and against the reconciliation timeline to ensure UK SoX scope balance sheet accounts are correctly stated.

Key Tasks will include:

• Support balance sheet account owners in the remediation of 'unsatisfactory' balance sheet items to ensure accurate recording of the UK balance sheet.
• Engage proactively with the offshore team to manage service quality on assigned balance sheet reconciliations so that service quality evolves over time.
• Continuous review and refinement of balance sheet Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) both onshore and offshore.

Key Experience Required:

• Will be a Part Qualified accountant with strong working background
• Strong financial accounting experience is essential
• Proven balance sheet reconciliation, highlighted in your recent roles
• Will be used to working in a fast paced environment
