Fantastic opportunity to join this high growth Leisure / Retail business based in North West London.
The business is current growing rapidly and is seeking a senior management accountant to look after a number of retail sites within the retail estate.

The role
* Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of key financial information whilst maintaining balance sheet control.
* Monthly management accounts produced and issued in line with reporting timetable.
* All balance sheet account reconciliations produced and reviewed on a monthly basis.
* Responsible for balance sheet control, including 100% compliance of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
* Building strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the business including, Operational Managers, the Head of Finance and other members of the finance team.
* Achieve 100% compliance with all internal control procedures, monitoring, maintaining and developing where necessary. Support internal and external audits, implementing new control recommendations and ensuring compliance with existing policies.
* Understand the drivers of EBITDA for all sites, including Key Performance Indicators.
* Communicate trends and opportunities to improve EBITDA to General Managers in a timely and proactive manner.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, effectively present ideas and turn them into practical actions.
* Support wider finance team and group goals / initiatives.

Person Specification
* Part or Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong technical accountant with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Good communicator, building meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Team player with an ability to contribute to wider group goals.
* Ability to bring a commercial outlook to the role such that deliverables add value and insight to the business.
* Self-starter with a strong desire for personal development.
* Prior experience in Retail or Leisure will be an advantage.
