Financial Controller

SF Group is currently recruiting a Financial Controller for a rapidly expanding organisation within the Derbyshire region. Operating within a niche area of the IT sector, the business boasts a bespoke product range that is proving extremely valuable to the large number of businesses that purchase it. You will be responsible for implementing strong controls within the business and providing timely and effective financial reporting.

As Financial Controller further day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising a small finance team, producing accurate and informative management accounts & MI packs, producing statutory accounts to audit level, producing weekly & monthly cash-flow forecasts. As the main point of contact within the finance department you will also be liaising with the wider business and contributing commercial ideas to increase profitability.

The ideal Financial Controller will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent and possess similar work experience or knowledge within the IT sector. You will be a clear and confident communicator, comfortable using bespoke IT packages and possess excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
