We are working with a global financial services provider to recruit a Senior Fund Administrator into either their London or Jersey offices, to join their Co-Sec and Fund Admin team. This role will be primarily responsible for all aspects of day-to-day administration for one or more assigned clients. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager of the team.
Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
- Primary point of contact on day-to-day administration matters for a portfolio of clients;
- Overseeing and supporting the convening, attending and preparing minutes for board meetings;
- Liaising with client contacts, lawyers, auditors and investors;
- Overseeing and supporting all Co Sec matters for client corporate entities;
- Overseeing and supporting all administrative matters for Jersey companies and limited partnerships, including but not limited to:
- Client and investor queries;
- Investor and transaction related activity;
- Maintenance of registers and files;
- Distributions and capital calls;
- Investor statements and related client reports;
- Reporting of fund transactions to fund accountants;
- Cash management; and
- Anti-money laundering procedures and associated Customer Due Diligence
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
The right individual will have previous experience and knowledge of corporate administration or fund admin within a PE/RE Funds / Legal Administration / Trusts or Investment Banking and the following attributes:
- Degree qualified with a strong academic background and with a technical knowledge of fund and financial services legislation and regulations
- Experience of training juniors with ability to motivate and influence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good judgement and decision making skills;
- Able to work independently, under pressure and to deadlines
