About the Organisation

Our client is a women-only organisation dedicated to helping women cope and recover from experiences of domestic abuse, as well as women who are at risk of offending or with short term sentences to reduce offending. 

They are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their team in Hammersmith.

The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will provide a high-quality financial and management accounting service for the charity.

Working as part of the Business Services Team, you’ll prepare management accounts, develop, administer and monitor financial systems, perform credit control tasks, monitor cash flow and support the annual audit.

You’ll provide financial support and advice to managers and staff and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure finance activities are effectively controlled. 

Additionally, you will:

- Maintain the accounting ledgers

- Carry out monthly and year end bank and balance sheet reconciliations

- Liaise with payroll contractors, pensions and other financial benefit schemes

- Record capital expenditure and maintain the fixed asset ledger

About You

To be considered as a Management Accountant, you’ll need:

- Experience of charity accounting, management accounting and of administering financial systems

- Excellent communication skills

- A great eye for detail

- A methodical approach to problem-solving
