Ignata Finance are recruiting a Financial Analyst for a global business with offices in Brighton.

In this role, you will support the Finance Planning Manager in planning and forecasting. You will be part of driving robust, insightful and accurate business projections that will guide strategic decision making and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities:

• You will support analysis of performance to date against expectations
• You will support and guide regional and functional business partners in the development of consistent and informative Management Information.
• Defining and coordinating the annual planning and monthly/quarterly forecasting process
• Understanding and maintenance of the planning model
• Work closely with senior staff and other stakeholders to deliver a clear and informative view of the business, both past and future
• Build strong relationships at all levels across the Finance Team and stakeholders
• Act as a “bridge” for financial information with non-finance stakeholders
• Identify information and reporting needs for the presentation of projected performance
• Provide consistent and accurate forecasting and planning
• Lead on process improvement and transformation

Experience and qualifications required:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Degree attained
• Strong excel and financial modelling skills
• Strong academic history
• Experience working within a large multinational or complex organisation
• Demonstrate high calibre financial understanding and capability, with a clear commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder management and exposure to senior management
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills

Location: Brighton

Salary: £45-55k depending on experience
