Senior Finance Business Partner

A well known, successful retail business in Manchester is seeking a senior Finance Business Partner to work closely with the executive management team. The business has outperformed their competitors over the past few years and aims to maintain this by driving their strategic plan, delivering further improvements and changes that will impact the whole business.

The Role

The Finance Business Partner will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Provide insight, financial support and challenge to the Divisional Managing Director
• Help to drive continuous improvements, increase profitability and optimise performance
• Advise and direct the leadership team to influence future performance and business decisions

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience within the retail, FMCG, multisite, logistics or distribution sectors is desirable
• Strong business partnering, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Able to direct senior level individuals
• Proven success in influencing strategic business decisions and driving significant improvements to business performance is essential
• Demonstrable operational and commercial finance ability on both revenue and margins
• Able to work in pressurised environments, meet multiple deadlines and manage own priorities.
• Able to work independently and together with other personnel both finance and non-finance
• Creative and innovative approach to problem solving and analysis

Salary and Contract

• £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
• Permanent, full time contract
