Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a key client based in the Barnsley area as they look to appoint an experienced Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join their busy finance team.

Duties of the Accounts & Payroll Assistant will include:

*Processing the payroll
*Collating and inputting timesheets
*Calculating expenses
*Distribution of payroll information to staff
*Calculating staff holidays and mileage
*First point of contact for all payroll related queries
*Dealing with starters/leavers
*Completion of billing schedules
*Monthly bank reconciliation
*Supporting wider finance team as required

The ideal candidate will have:

*At least 2 years worth of experience within a similar position
*Be educated to GCSE level including Maths & English
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to pick up new processes quickly
*Ability to work well under pressure
