Your New Job

You will be responsible for a range of duties as Accounts Assistant including; day to day book keeping, Payroll, including manging staff timesheets and liaising with the companies delegated accountancy bureau. As the Accounts Assistant you will also be responsible for Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control, Cash flow projections, end of month bank reconciliations and VAT returns, whilst managing the financial data through bespoke systems and assisting with general ad-hock duties as required.    

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Our Client is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Accounts Assistant, you will have at least two years’ relevant experience and a minimum AAT Level 2. You should be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills and have experience working on Sage, Excel training will be provided on the company’s own bespoke system.

Your Future As The Successful Candidate

You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £24,000 per annum, with 28 days holiday (this will increase with length of service), benefits include a comprehensive study support package, Nest Pension, Parking on site and discounts within the hospitality / Leisure group.  You’ll receive on going supervision and support whilst in your role and will have the opportunity for growth and progression in your role as the business continues to expand.
