Financial Controller

Cambridge-based Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to recruit a professionally qualified Accountant in a newly created role of Financial Controller.
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a finance function including 2 Finance Managers and a Finance Administrator. You will be professionally qualified, and ideally have experience of working in either the Education or Charities / Not-for-Profit sectors. You will have prepared financial and statutory accounts to SORP standards and have experience of liaising with auditors.
You will also be able to demonstrate experience of budgeting, assessing cost structures and costing and pricing of products. This is an ambitious MAT with plans to grow and develop - there is a pathway for this role to also grow into a larger position with greater responsibilities in time.
This represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate keen to secure a Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller position. Potential for flexible and Part-time working hours to be considered.
