Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working on an exclusive basis with a well established and successful firm in Doncaster that has a number of operating divisions within it's group structure.
As a result of a recent promotion, they currently have a rare opportunity for a late part qualified/ Newly Qualified Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Head of department, you will be responsible for the timely production of Monthly Management Accounts one of their specialist divisions, maintaining financial controls as well as having some commercial exposure with the with the operational teams to discuss divisional performance actuals against budget. It will be a varied and all encompassing role with duties to include:-
- Production of the Monthly Management Accounts
- Reporting on divisional and company performance
- Provide commercial finance support and business partnering to the division's operations
- Attending monthly divisional operational review meetings
- Production of internal reports as required by Signalling & Power Management
- Assist external auditors with the gathering of information, allowing the audit team to form an accurate audit opinion
- Ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained over balance sheet accounts
- Performing periodic reconciliation's and investigating entries made
- Ensuring that all financial information produced is relevant, accurate and presented in a timely manner to the highest standard, complying with IFRS
- Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Finance Team as and when required
To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:
- Recently CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified (Late part qualified will also be considered)
- At least 2-3 years experience within Management/ Financial Accounts
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong IT skills (including Advanced Excel)
- Experience of working within the construction sector would be advantageous although not essential
