An international group of companies specialising in a niche market within a multi-sector environment is recruiting for a Finance Manager (Inventory and Margins) with exposure to working in a manufacturing. You will be a qualified Finance Manager and possess a pro-active nature and the ability to engage at all levels.
As a Finance Manager you will be reporting to the FC and responsible for the Inventory and Margins accounting and related project work.
With recent industry experience preferably with big company experience ideally you will have SOX or similar controls in a similar environment
Key areas of focus will be:
- Managing and maintaining complex inventory valuations methods
- Maintain overhead standard costing systems
- Margin and profit improvement projects
- Understand and applying UK GAAP and US GAAP
- Forecasting and planning
Being a qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified Accountant you will be technically adept, a practical problem solver and have SOX or similar controls in a industrial environment.
