We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for one of the UK's leading E-Commerce organisations based in Manchester.
My client has a distinguished pedigree within the outsourcing arena, and they are looking to expand on these foundations by instilling a "Commercial Value Add" finance function which will sit with the wider business units, engaging in Budgeting and Cost Rationalisation.
This is a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager's position which will have the successful Qualified Accountant sitting is a true Commercial Finance Business Partnering interfacing role.
The Role
The role of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, is a position which is at the cutting edge of my clients commercially focused team. You will be targeted on driving organisational growth, profitability and KPI delivery through delivery of detailed commercial reporting at the highest level.
The roles key engagement area's will be:
- Profit optimisation
- Champion "Best Practice" supporting Sales and Operations Teams
- Financial Modelling
- Internal operational review
- WIP
- KPI creation and delivery
The successful candidate will be an analyst who engages with internal stakeholders across the organisation and will therefore require excellent communication skills which can be used to demonstrate the commercial value of finance.
This is a challenging role that is best suited to a talented qualified accountant who has the ability to communicate at a high level, build relationships, develop processes, and understand the necessity of Finance in an internal and external stake-holding facing position.
As this is a new role in a newly targeted division, you will be tasked with the recruitment of a head count of 3 to support you in your day to day duties. Therefore, people management will be seen as a distinct advantage.
