Finance Manager

As a leading infrastructure group, this expanding business is responsible for project & services delivery within the Construction, Contracting & Hard Facilities Management sector, often aligned to Private Finance Initiatives-PFI & PPP & Facilities Management contracts and projects. Integral to on-going success is the commercial financial control & reporting of their major projects. As a result, the business is currently seeking a qualified accountant to undertake a 12-month Finance Manager assignment with responsibility for a portfolio of projects & contracts. Supporting the Financial & Investments Directors, a broad brief includes:

•Acting as key member of the senior management team & finance leader on each project
•Driving the financial control, management accounting, reporting, planning & analysis for a portfolio of key Special Purpose Project Contracts (SPC)
•Providing commercial analysis & financial & management accounting support to the SPC Board, funders & shareholders
•Assisting with the development of financial control strategy, challenging the status quo & enabling change
•Interpreting & ensuring compliance with key financial deliverables set out in each Project Contract, Funder & Facilities Management sub-contractor agreements
•Management of financial aspects of project variations with site teams & Regional Projects Finance Director
•Supporting the improvement of systems, processes & financial models for financial control, improved budgeting & forecasting
•Involvement in management of SPC & SPV funding drawn-down facilities & funder reporting requirements

As a qualified accountant with commercial acumen, strong financial controls and financial analysis experience, alongside the gravitas to influence senior managers, you will demonstrate a track record in robust financial & management reporting and business process transformation. Previous exposure to the Construction, Hard FM-Facilities Management or commercial contracts environment will be advantageous. Immediate start available.
