CFO

Our client is a fast growing and profitable business operating in the financial services management consultancy sector. The business is looking to strengthen its Board by hiring a hands on and commercially focused CFO. As a key member of the management team, this is a wide ranging role with overall responsibility for finance across the business.    

Responsibilities;

• Business partner the CEO, challenging when necessary and helping both develop and implement robust forward strategies for the company
• Develop and provide regular and insightful management accounts, forecasts, analysis and commentary
• Ensure there is an environment of strong financial control and balance sheet integrity
• Lead on all M&A activity
• Develop and optimise accounting, process and controls and lead on IT & systems across the organisation
• Lead all external relationships including the banks, auditors etc.

Candidate;

• Proven and experienced CFO who must have a background in consultancy or professional services sectors 
• Qualified Chartered accountant with sound technical skills
• Commercial and strategic mindset with the ability to work outside the traditional confines of finance
• Highly motivated individual with an energetic, hands-on approach to business
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact both at the board level and with the wider company
• M&A experience
