Finance Manager

A new position had arisen for a Finance Manager to join a rapidly expanding and highly lucrative company on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a high performing Finance Manager to join the senior management team and work alongside the CEO and external Accountants. In this newly created role, you will take full responsibility for the finance department, managing the outsourced services and managing the finance team.

• Consolidation of 3 companies for Monthly Management Accounts
• Main point of contact for all finance-related queries and processes
• Presenting financial performance during monthly board meetings
• Provide actionable insight from analysing the management accounts, KPIs and other data sets. Also be able to respond to adhoc requests from the Board.
• VAT returns, EC Sales listing and Intrastat supplementary declarations to HMRC
• Cash flow forecasting and managing supplier payments
• Annual budgeting
• Monitor VAT thresholds for overseas operations
• Managing both outsourced bookkeeping and payroll function
• Prepare for future external audit and support any VAT audit if applicable

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant in either ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Highly commercial and analytical
• Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Direct experience working with accounting systems (Sage preferred)
• Experience in the Leisure or Retail industry is ideal
