Senior Credit Risk Analyst - Secured Lending - Award winning secured lender
Salary Up to £42k basic salary Plus Excellent Bonus up to 20% of base salary and Benefits - package in excess of £50k
Our client one of the highest performing organisations in the North West continue to grow in an exciting, sustained way and are looking the recruit Senior Credit Risk Analyst within the Group Risk function. Reporting into the Credit Risk Manager, you will play an integral role in the reporting and analysis on the quality of lending against Group and Divisional credit risk appetite.

The Role
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the segmentation and analysis of the portfolio to improve efficiency and automation, as well as supporting the development of IFRS9 reporting (Experience of IFRS9 not a requirement)
To be considered for this role, you will have a passion for analytics and come from a similar Credit Risk background, ideally within a volume credit risk management environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production and ongoing enhancement of credit risk reporting, providing timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reports and updates to Risk committees;
- Provide analytical insights and make strategic recommendations for the full credit risk life-cycle;
- Development of Divisional IFRS9 reporting and analysis;
- Perform analysis to support credit risk strategy, policy and process development;
- Support development and monitoring of new products ;
- Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network to share credit risk expertise and insight across the organisation;
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a credit risk environment (Commercial Credit Risk experience would be advantageous);
- Relevant coding experience (SQL/R or equivalent);
- Degree educated, preferably within a numerate discipline;
- Strong understanding of the fundamental concepts of credit risk management;
- Advanced Excel skills;
