Your new company
Your new company are a leader in their field within the manufacturing industry and are looking for an Interim Management Accountant to join their team.

Your new role
This is an interim role with a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. You will be covering 2 sites in the company and will be responsible for the weekly and monthly reporting, ensuring these are on time and to agreed quality. Weekly reporting to cover variances, journals, reconciliation of reports, map of processes and improvements. Monthly reporting to include monthly actuals for variances and overheads, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation and spreadsheet reconciliations to SAP.

You will assist with the preparation and agreement of overhead budget including the updating of product standards and assist variances budget to send to FM. You will also be responsible for product costings, changes to existing products and new products being introduced and will prepare cost estimates.

You will also identify and implement process improvements as part of your new role and produce standardised reporting. You will liaise with internal and external auditors, have involvement in finance projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be part qualified CIMA or ACCA and have strong knowledge of financial control requirements with Manufacturing industry experience. You will also need to be available to start asap following a successful 1 stage interview. You will have previous achievements that will make you stand out from the crowd and be a self starter who does not need to be heavily supervised. You will be organised, motivated, action orientated and efficient and demonstrate a "right first time" approach.

You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to communicate clearly to non-finance teams, be confident in challenging, conflict management and standing alone on issues. You will work well under pressure and have the ability to challenge and be unwilling to accept the "status quo".

You will have experience using SAP, a strong working knowledge of Excel, be highly numerate and will demonstrate strong analytical skills and balance the need for analysis and rigour with speed of action when solving problems.
