This assistant financial controller role is an outstanding opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who is looking to work with a rapidly growing organisation.
The role will include monthly travel to work with finance teams in newly acquired companies.
Client Details
Our client is a fast growing UK-based organisation in the FMCG sector.
As a result of excellent growth in 2018 (circa $195m turnover), they are looking to add to their finance team.
Description
The overlying responsibilty of this role will to travel to newly acquired businesses and ensuring the data that the local finance team generate can be fed back to the UK HQ for consolidation.
Further responsibilities include:
Detailed monthly and annual reporting
On-site reviews and audits of new acquisitions
Technical accounting support as and when required by the group financial controller
Ad-hoc project work
Profile
Our candidate is looking for a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) who is looking to take a big career step.
A good working knowledge of IFRS would be an advantage
Likewise, experience in audit is desirable but not mandatory.
The successful applicant will need to be highly self-confident, credible and self-assured.
