Hays Senior Finance are proud to be working in partnership with this growing SME based in Kenilworth, to recruit a Project Accountant, responsible for the financial management of all projects, working closely with the operational team to develop and report on KPIs. This includes month end reporting, budgeting, future business planning and quarterly reviews.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for preparing the monthly financial position for each project and the financial setup of projects including project data, budgets, resourcing and margins, and the design and maintenance of Project Accounting System. You will ensure customer and project records are correctly configured and links to other financial/operational systems are functional (SAP/CRM). You will lead bi-monthly finance review meetings, to provide financial support for tenders and bids. You will also offer financial support and analysis to all parts of the business including Group Monitoring of revenue, profitability and cash forecasting for each project.

You will work closely with group companies to ensure reports are submitted on time and be actively involved in Group Projects including the timely preparation of monthly revenue reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be at least a Part-Qualified Accountant with excellent interpersonal skills and SAP experience. You will have the ability to work to strict deadlines with high attention to detail, and Advanced Excel, Word and verbal communication skills. You will be the kind of person that drives to continually improve processes and deliver quality financial support.
