Interim Financial Control Project Officer Training, Temporary 4-6 months, £200-300 / day

Your new company

You will be working for a public services company based in York. It is anticipated the role will last around 6 months and is required due to continuation of the financial improvement project responding to audit issues and to facilitate the transition of finance activities and control to existing staff.


Your new role

You will be primarily working with the team investigating and resolving financial management issues to enable a comprehensive training programme to be created and delivered to the appropriate staff to ensure smooth morphing into a rolling training programme. Complete testing of draft material and amend as necessary, working with project team to asses which areas are priorities and how best to formulate testing considering practicalities of delivery. Working with senior staff to ensure training overlaps with issues appropriately, helping to administer the programme, amending format and delivery as required. Delivering the rolling programme of training across all areas of business using different tools and formats, providing advice and guidance as required. Using feedback to assist in drafting expert user tips and guidance and assist in embedding training programme and in establishing feedback mechanism and recording take up.


What you'll need to succeed

You must be a qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant or qualified by experience with a good understanding of financial controls and accounting processes and experience with collating and evaluating evidence. Experience of delivery of taring to financial and none financial audiences with an engaging and credible communicator.
