Axon Moore are working with a market leader in its field to recruit a Finance Manager to lead a new site finance function.
The key core skills required of the successful candidate will include the ability to prepare statutory accounts to UK GAAP accounts and reconciliations to IFRS reporting pack accounts, co-ordinate preparation of tax computations and returns, completion of Transfer Pricing documentation with support from external bodies and co-ordination of year end audit and tax process. The ability to oversee monthly VAT returns, preparation of accounts to trial balance and management of treasury, credit control and purchase and general ledger functions are also part of the remit. Over and above the technical skills and expertise, you will be a strong manager with a proven track record of leading, motivating and developing strong performing finance teams.
In return you will work as part of a wider large scale forward thinking organisation with the opportunity to contribute to organisation wide projects. The package will include a performance related bonus. This role will be particularly suited to individuals who have worked in a large company environment, who thrive on challenges and are able to ensure deadlines are met through engaging and leading a strong finance team.
