Group Finance Manager

Axon Moore are representing a business in Crewe who are undergoing a period of change and growth and as a result are looking for an interim Group Finance Manager for an assignment.  Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, the role will be for a minimum 4 months on an ongoing basis.

Job Description:

• Assist in the annual budgeting process:
  • Managing the budget models and processing any changes required
  • Assist build of budget pack with appropriate performance bridges and articulation of budget assumptions
• Responsible for assisting in preparation of Board reporting pack including:
• Liaising with relevant departments to gather information to pull together in power point deck
• Preparing ad hoc analysis for inclusion in the pack
• Finessing commentary and professionalising presentation of pack
• Preparing analysis on ad hoc projects as requested by Group to understand financial/operational impact on business

Person Specification:

• Excellent communication skills including building relationships across the business and outside of finance
• High proficiency in excel including some experience of working with financial models
• Good proficiency in power point
• Hands on attitude and capable of carrying out end to end analysis (data gathering to presentation)
• Eye for detail and comfortable with dealing with large data sets
• Experience of annual budget/forecast process
• Strong commercial mind-set and ability to think outside of the box
