Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Located in North Yorkshire, we are looking for an experienced and fully qualified finance professional to take on a new challenge as a FP&A Manager. This role is working for an extremely fast paced manufacturing business who are very well established within their industry.

This role will allow you to lead a commercial finance function. You will be required to influence and support business decisions by providing accurate management information. It will enable you to add value to the business by challenging commercial decisions and being a key member of the team for any projects work that may arise.

Duties:

• Finance Business Partnering - Optimising customer account financial performance
• Product costing
• Max Margin
• Approval of monthly customer terms
• Preparing weekly and monthly commercial commentaries
• Financial forecasting (quarterly forecasting and annual budget preparation)
• Ensuring commercial finance reports are completed accurately and within agreed timescales
• Ensure master data is aligned between commercial and operational finance

Requirements:

• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent) with post qualified experience
• Ability to confidently lead, influence and coach direct reports
• Stakeholder management and influencing experience
• Experience of commercial business partnering and the ability to support commercial decision making
• Strong IT skills - including advanced Excel
