Qualified Finance Manager - Wakefield

Reporting into the Finance Director, this position of Finance Manager has been created to take ownership of the company management accounts and manage two direct reports.

The role:

• Supporting the Finance Director (working to tight deadlines) in providing accurate information to the business
• Manage projects with the aim of improving management information - finding ways to use the ERP system more efficiently
• Producing monthly management accounts
• Preparing annual budgets and half year forecasts
• Liaising with external auditors
• Supporting a small finance team - mentoring, coaching and dealing with queries

What we are looking for:

• A candidate possessing an accounting qualification
• At least 1-2 years PQE within industry
• This role will make use of your advanced Excel skills and you need SAP experience
• The company is required to work to tight deadlines therefore it requires an accurate and organised candidate who has experience working in a fast paced industry - preferably manufacturing
• There are two finance employees reporting into this role so you need to be able to demonstrate that you have strong leadership skills
